I have worked within the veterinary service since I was 15 years old and straight after I left school. After 5 years I left to become a human nurse and worked for the NHS for 15 years and currently still practice as an Aesthetics Nurse. I left the NHS and pursued my continued love of animals to qualify as a Level 3 OCN Dog Groomer. I opened The Pet Room (Herne Bay) in January 2019 as a sister branch to the Pet Room in Minster run by Joanne Byrne. I continue my grooming education via many face to face seminars and online seminars and zoom seminars. I have completed an intense cat grooming course at a Grooming School in London. I love grooming all pets and we do: dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and the odd hamster too!! I am owned by 2 boxers and 2 show cocker spaniels whom I absolutely adore. I actively compete in show conformation with my boxers and have the only UK Show Champion boxer in Kent, Essex, London and Sussex (very hard to achieve!!!).
